I stumbled upon this idea from a blog I like to read linked here. The idea is to run a Google search with this in the search bar [site:.edu inurl:blog “post a comment†-â€you must be logged in†-â€comment posting closed†-â€comment closed†“keywordâ€] with out the brackets. You can change the .edu for any extension you wish add comments to. Plus I recommend changing the "post a comment" to "leave a reply" or you can use any other variation that bloggers use. I found that "leave a reply" finds the pages that have the comment box on it and not just a link. To use Google and show the pagerank and alexa traffic details you will need the firefox browser and download the SEO Fox addon. This addon will show the stats just under the search results so you save a huge amounts of time picking and choosing which blog you want to make a comment on. I recommend actually reading the post and make a comment because most folk charge buck$ to get links on high traffic sites and this tool will help you find links for free. This may not be a new idea and I certainly do not take credit for it but its been nice getting some links on sites with PR 6 and not pay a dime.
