Using Google Sitemap

    Got good difference in my search engine ranking after inducting google sitemap. Niow I want to know, is it necessary to update the sitemap(xml file, which i use)? if yes what is the frequency of update?

    if you add more pages to the site the sitemap needs to be updated (if this is not automatic).

    Google will check your sitemap every day or two to see if its changed. If it changes google will visit your site to ge the new pages.

    I will upload the sitemap once I add new pages to my site.

    Howeve, I don't know how long Google have to take index it.

    As my experence, it will take around 2 days.

    BTW, not all the new site will be indexed completed. Some pages are still the same

    If you have a sitemap that update automatically then you dont have to do anything
    else you have to update your sitemap by hand ...

    go to cron job page in ur hosting control panel and ad this like in unix sytle

    /usr/bin/php /home/USERNAME/public_html/FILENAME
