Have you added your website to Google Search Console? In GSC, this is called "Add a property." Follow these steps: Go to search.google.com/search-console , sign in, and click "Add property." Enter your website (choose "Domain" for the full site or "URL-prefix" for a specific section). Next, verify ownership using one of Google's provided methods, such as adding an HTML tag to your site’s code or a DNS record via your domain registrar. Verification may take a few hours to days. Once verified, GSC will start collecting your site's performance data, typically visible within 2-3 days, with up to 16 months of historical data available over time.

I mainly look at two things in Search Console: Performance (queries, pages, CTR, countries) and Coverage (indexing issues).
For performance, I sort by “Pages” or “Queries” and compare last 28 days vs previous. It’s enough to see what’s growing or dropping. You don’t really need a full tutorial — just click around and you’ll get the hang of it.
