yahoo/gmail/hotmail will throw up captcha code if you send too many emails.. and it is not practical.. then it is against their TOS as well.. Why not send emails through your own SMTP server provided by your ISP?
i think there's really no difference in using yahoo mail or gmail since it's both free. if you really plan on email marketing use emails that corresponds on what your marketing. also you can use email marketing software to help you send 100's of email in an instant.
If you want to be treated seriously as an online marketer, you need a proper email address and an autoresponder. You'll be amazed just how fast people will run away from you if you're using a gmail, hotmail or other similar email address. Do you already have a domain name yet? We get ours from ShopSmartDomains.com usually for less than $10 with heaps of free stuff. Then you can have any number of email addresses using that domain name. Start with e.g. mail1@yourdomainname or admin@yourdomainname or even fred@yourdomainname adding the .com or other suffix. You get the picture! Good luck.
tried it and it never worked, basically they blog your account if you send too much email, and at yahoo you need to enter the ennoying captcha every time. using a software it`s the best option
use vodamail or sendblaster software. they are very good. epostmail and group mail is also good. but expensive. i can provide smtp server if you are interested.
Google has limit on how many emails u can send at once I think its about 40 so this is going to take you a long time. Software is the better option.
gmail better than y mail but best is if you use the software from windows i think the outlook express
An autoresponder is how webmasters can send emails to customers and not get accused of SPAM. Have you ever signed up on a website somewhere for a free eBook or something, and started getting emails (ezines) from the website's owner? That was an autoresponder in action. Aweber, GetResponse and many other premium services are out there (I'm trying out MailChimp right now - it's free up to 500 subscribers and I like it so far!), but some folks would rather be in complete control of every aspect, so they might buy an autoresponder script and install in on their webhost (or their own server) to do the same thing.
