    Can anyone offer some guidance.

I'm trying to get into the skin of keyword research, i have time and low financial resources.

Am i getting this right ?

I set the search phrase to EXACT

I hope for matches and then look for competition value.

I only mess with low competition and anything over 200 searches per month.

I then place the keyword in the google search window to represent organic competition through the results amount.

I only go for anything below 500 000 in the results window.

I'm so unsure, don't really want to start plugging the web with words that may be useless.

    Appreciate any guidance, thank you

    James

    You can target keyword with
    high search volume per month
    (exact or phrase keywords).
    Then you go to google.com
    and type those keyword within
    quotes ("keywords") to look
    for the number of competition.

If more than 20,000, it is
    considered as high competition :)

If less than 1,000 to 5,000
    grab them :)
