Using freeware software as free bonuses...

    You have to check out the freeware license, if they state that you can redistribute them, it should be fine.

    What if nothing is mentioned, can you redistribute them by default or does this have to be clearly stated? I just wanted to be sure...

    Yes, read the readme file for any restrictions (and/or send them a brief email about what you want to do) but also remember that downloading software from your own hosting could use a lot of your bandwidth and be very slowwww:eek:

    You could have external links to the third-party freeware bonuses from your download page? ;)

    I think you should write your own little software, which to deliver as a bonus. This will not only save you from the trouble you might get giving 3rd party software as bonus, but will also help your brand, and returning visitors ;)
