Do you think this link building technique will work? Set up free blogs at places like blogger, wordpress etc and write content related to your site then link to your site in the article. It sounds a little bit like article marketing but you can choose the keywords (i.e. in blog name and url). I'm not sure if it will work because the free blog pages will each have low pr and back link value. Any thoughts? Thanks
Difficult to scale up for competitive terms mate. Might be worth while if you build a network that you can use to link to a number of sites that you're trying to rank - but fraught with hidden dangers 1 - Don't interlink 2 - Register through different IPs I'm sure other DPers will have more tips
all links on blogger are nofollow. so, do not try it. wordpress.com can be helpful but you have to create real blogs(not only 1 post). try to buy links from real blogs instead of using this difficult method.
Social networks are much better for link building. Mostly Dofollow and usually get publish immediately.
You'd have to promote those "free blogs" as well, i.e. get links to them. So, in the end, you will have more than one site to promote. Drop the idea altogether.
Can work. this is similar to the link wheel approach. However, real value comes when you build a full blog - not just a one pager...
I dont thinks its makes any difference if you give link on blog or website. if your blog is full content and gud pr then its gud to put links over there..
No, not all the blogger links are nofollow, only blog comment links are nofollow, but blogroll and post In-content links are always dofollow. On the other side yes! It can be a good strategy, But yeah as everybody says you need to update those blogs frequently and have to build links for them as well.
This link building technique actually works given that what you are doing are all SEO effective techniques, but basically it's a long shot and will show obvious results in the long run. Why not make a Squidoo lens or Hubpage? They will help your site faster. But don't rush. But if you have time, try to make your blogs rank as well. It will be a useful tool someday.
It would work. But it does not make sense to use free blog web sites. It makes much more sense to spend a few dollars on a couple domains and some cheap hosting and build your own blog network.
it`s take time and a lots of content, i update my blogs manually everyday and it`s really time consuming job.
This was only a theory. I knew it would be a big effort to pull off thought that people might already be doing it. Is it a good idea to link all your sites together anyway?
The problem is free blog start with next to no trust. This means you have to build trust in though sites before they can give it. I agree social network are probable a quicker root to success.
Is Link building with a blog very important or would you prefer other marketing ideas? If yes, please give me a ranking for the best options to build up links. Thanks
