Using filters in a report and getting weird results

    Hello,

I'm a newbie with GA, but eager to learn from your experience! I am trying my hand at building reports. We have online courses, and I want to look at the data of which courses are the most popular. Unfortunately, with our file structure, I have to do a lot of filtering. I think this is messing up my data. I've included edit and report view. I am filtering to get to a particular folder, and then looking for each index.htm page which is the beginning of the course. When the user lands on the index page, I am assuming that they are taking the course.

I am puzzled why Sessions are so low, even returning a zero in some instances. I also don't know what is the best metric to use for a report like this? Do I use Users? Sessions? Unique Pageviews? Pageviews? What do you recommend? Am I going about this all wrong? Thanks for your help!
