Hello, I am using analytics to track my site's traffic and I want to create new views that will allow me to track only specific sub-domains. for example, this is my site's domain http://t-n-t.co.il/ and I would like to create a filter that will monitor the traffic activity only on these three subdomains (and all of their subdomains as well, of course): http://t-n-t.co.il/boys/accessories/ http://t-n-t.co.il/girls/dresses/ http://t-n-t.co.il/boys/tshirts/ I have read many manuals regarding this and I am quite confused on how these filters actually work, if anyone can give a helping hand it would be highly appreciated
First of all, you need to get your definitions straight. Those are not subdomains. Those are folders under the domain (web) root. A subdomain is something like this: Regular domain: t-n-t.co.il or www.t-n-t.co.il Subdomain: boys.accessories.t-n-t.co.il Code (markup): Granted, www. is actually a "subdomain", but isn't really counted as that.
yeah thanks for that I got confused, anyway, I found out how to make customized reports containing data from selected pages using regex, but I have another problem that I would like to solve. My company is attempting to send scheduled custom referral traffic reports to some of our affiliates and we would very much like to hide/remove the "% of total" values that are appended below visits and transactions so that our affiliates don't have to know what our total site visits and transactions are. I tried changing the report type from "explorer" to "flat table" but then I don't get the summary of all the pages that I need. here is a link to an image that better explains my question
