Hi guys, I put up a video on youtube showing how easy it is to rank well for many keywords just by using one RSS Aggregator site - feedagg.com. I still have niches with reasonable competitive keywords on page 1 or 2 just from using feedagg. Yes submit one rss feed and on page 1/2. I am not saying it happens all the time, but it happens so often it's not funny! Hidden tip: When you find the feedagg.com link doing really well ranking in the search engines, do another web 2.0 promotion using free sites and link to the feedagg rss page helping that to rank even better. Also look to use free sites like yahoo pipes, dapper.net, rss-feeds.info, etc to create your own feeds and also merge existing feeds, and submit those feeds as well to rank even better. I still find in the many niches we are in, that few competitors are using rss in this way. It's all free, so I am suggesting that you put this to use today in your campaigns! But isn't the feed page getting ranked and not your page and also do you recommend RSS submissions services ?
Yes the feed page is getting ranked, but there is not a problem with that is there? It's another entry that has a link someone can click to get to your site. Also it's a backlink so doing this often enough and with enough keywords, etc and your site will be ranking as well, so you will have multiple entries on page one. For RSS submission services, I'd have to say I was not overly happy with them, so I wrote my own The free version submits to 6 rss aggregators is at http://www.takeoverpageone.com/blog/web-20/free-report I also developed a professional version that submits to 20 at once at http://www.rss-power-plus.com The great thing about either is it's automatic, so the feeds get submitted to automatically each time you post in wordpress. The professional edition also includes a standalone rss feed generator and the ability to have multiple profiles, etc. But even the free version is extremely powerful, take a look sometime.
