"suggested friends" appears in the right hand side of using facebook - some of these people are none that I recognize, how is facebook suggesting the friends? It sometimes says abc is a mutual friend, which I can understand how facebook suggested that as person as friend. But I see names pictures of suggested friends, how facebook arrives at them?

Also how to comment on a fan page's wall without becoming a fan? Is it not possible?

And why do facebook applications want access to 'my full friends circle' when i dont see any need for accessing anything other than my info?

Also, I want to point two urls to my same page
that is facebook.com/myname and facebook.com/mybizname both need to point to same page, is this possible, how?

It looks at friends of friends and compares interests, info, etc... (I believe).

You must be a fan to leave a comment on the wall.

That's been an on going problem arising with facebook. I wouldn't be surprised if they collected your information and used it for spamming purposes.

No that's not possible since you're only allowed to have one unique URL per page.

    Hope this helps. :)

the suggested friends would be ppl you may not know - but have common interest. It's sort of like matching profiles.

It's called viral marketing! When you become someones friend, you are then suggested to their friends and visa versa...pretty genius of FB really...the best way of marketing in my books!

Ok it shows one entry in suggested friends list and it also shows how it arrived at that result - because of FOAF (friend of a friend), but there are other photos and names also getting displayed and it is not dislpaying how it arrived at those sugggestions - lets assume I take facebook's suggesion and add them as friends - then assume they report me as spammer because they dont know me either - how is this a good idea to suggest friends without showing how facebook arrived at such a deduction? I dont think this is a good idea, facebook's labelling as such 'suggested friends' seems to mean that these are people ready and willing to accept you as friend etc
