    Hi,

I have had an offer which I accepted from a DP member.

Because the offer is a $$$$ sum I wanted to use Escrow to make sure everybody is safe in the transaction.

I know the buyer wants my domains, but they are refusing to use escrow?

The DP has been a member for a while with many recent trades.

Would you trust them if they didnt want to use escrow?

    Thanks
p.s before you ask I wont name the DP member

I just used escrow.com and have found them to be very quick and professional all the way though. By the way. This was for a $$,$$$ amount :)
As far as itrader and rep goes here at DP. There has been a few bad transactions from high profile DP members before (thankfully I am not one of them). If the other party won't deal through Escrow then move on in my opinion. There's no good reason NOT to use it.

    Col :)

as Col mentioned, it's VERY fishy for anyone to NOT want to use escrow for such a transaction.

the fact that you asked this question shows you have doubts. when in doubt, go with your instincts.

Definitely back out if they won't use escrow. They might be honest, but why take the chance when there is such a simple solution?

Don't do the deal. Escrow exists to protect them as much as you and if they don't want to use it then you're not protected. Walk away and resell your site again.

Well, probably most of you are right regarding escrow
however I sold a network of sites 2 weeks ago and we
did it without escrow.com. Escrow could be the right
solution if one is prepared to pay the fee's and to wait,
as it takes time, and it has costs involved too.

In my case we used eCheck by paypal , and the costs
were only $5 for the receiver, which was great. The
total amount was $X,XXX, and the deal was closed not
    here on DP.
