Using duplicate themes, but same niche.

    This is probably a noob-ish question, but I'm just not entirely sure of the answer. If I am running two sites on the same hosting account, that use the same Wordpress theme, and have two similar domains (both are targeted keywords in the same niche), will Google penalize the sites?

    They won't have the same content (surrounding the same niche, but content will be unique), so I don't see why Google would, but I just wanted to make sure.

    I'm sure this is not a reason to penaliza you in Google. Just your visitors can be a bit confused when enter different site with the same look. Dejavu ;)

    If you don't use the same content then there is not need to be worry about getting penalized.
