On my opinion the dot. com or any make no different . As I use .biz for my main personal website too. So far there weren't any algorithm verify about this dot.

Try using a 301 redirect. That is the SEO friendly one. Place it in your .htaccess file you don't need domain pointers for that.

Also I think you made a good choice on the free sounds domain. Me, I made a big mistake.

My site www.fantasy-pc.com has a wide niche. Basically it is a Discussion Community with many features. It isn't targetted that much.

I mean fantasy-pc is irrelevant. I don't have anything that relates to a fantistical computer. I basically have an all talk board.

I should of realized that, I was misleaded in the begin thinking that a unique name would be good, but you have to take in consideration a unique name and a relevant name.

It will be much easier on the SERP's that way.

    Good luck.

well, these are impt life lessons that are costly but sometimes cannot be avoided. I made the same mistake as u before, and promised myself never to make that costly mistake again.....

but as a further consolation, as i've said before earlier and echoed by others in this thread too, the domain name is not the be all and end all. If you get other parameters right, you will do alrite ;)
