Using domain names with "the"?

The domain name I am searching for is not available but "the" version of the name is available.

Looking for advise on using "the" in domain names. Is it okay, good, should be avoided?

I have a few that have "THE" in the beginning of the domain. I think it all depends on what comes after "THE" and what you plan on doing with the domain. My personal thoughts im sure someone has a better idea.

Using "THE" will probably work.. but like I said it depends on what comes after "THE" but create a quality site for the domain and "THE" wont even matter anymore.

I also have a domain with "the" at the beginning. It seems to be doing well although I would have liked to have been able to register the domain without it. I think using "the" is a much better alternative than using dashes.

dash is terrible for a domain name.
