Now that lot of people are using This great Ad Network. I am getting skeptical about this as it seems like search engines will penalise those using these networks.

Would like to know about what your views are about the network.
I like it and will continue using it for few websites of mine, but want to save a few others from getting into troubles with G and Yahoo.

And what is the way you are using COOP, if you would like to share the ideas ?

Thanks shawn for making a great system which is free.

Well your poll leaves a lot of space in the middle so I voted for what was closest. It actually brings me a good amount of traffic and there are probably some SE benefits.

Certainly hasn't hurt my ranking whatsoever

i mainly use it for new sites that need some action to get it moving, or for older sites that might have become in-active.

I went after only 1 extremely competitive keyword phrase (around 5-7K per days searching).

Well, I was on the old scale to start for weight. On that scale I had around 20,000. On the new scale I have around 7,000.

How about static versus dynamic ads? Did anybody see a major difference after switching to static ads? Has anybody experienced a negative search engine reaction after using static ads?

You don't really have any control over the impact of static ads on your advertising. It depends on others using static ads. Setting it to static only means ads on your sites will be static. If your ads are dynamic or static is entirely dependant on the rest of the co-op and their settings.

I just switched myself. I all of a sudden received all of my advertising links telling me that I needed to update my .php file so I don't know much about that at all.

However, aeiouy's answer brings me to another question. How many of you have your ads set to static, 50/50 or dynamic.

Me, I have them set to 50/50

Now that i have used Coop for 2 weeks for our websites. am really happy and will recommend it to many others who are skeptical about the network.

And i have seen some very good jewelry related websites using coop as well. i hope that in days to come we will have much better websites on coop and many new features as well.
