Using car manufacturer logos

    I am using car manufacturer logos for some news pages on my websites front page at http://www.carshops247.co.uk

    I remember reading somewhere that if the logo has a direct relation to the subject of the webpage, such news in my case, then it would be fine to use. Is this true?

    With a disclaimer on the page or site that "logos used here belong to the individual companies and are used here for identification purposes only". Or something along those lines.

    You are never 100% safe unless you have permission.

    IMO with the disclaimer all they will do is ask you to remove it if they don't like your site or content.

    I'd say your best bet is to add a disclaimer as the above post says ^^

    Although you'll never be in the black unless you have the appropriate permission. I'd suggest asking the companies. ;)
