Using Blogspot,Is it better than paid one?

hye guys,

just wanna discuss this topic with you,is it using blogspot also can make some money? and is it even better than the paid one like wordpress?

 

if you have good traffic and good adsense placement then it can make you money but i suggest getting the paid one. you can customize it more.

if you are serious about blogging.

 

for now i'm just concentrate blogging using blogspot...it's fun.

thanks for the good info..but I've heard one of Indian blogger makes thousand just doing blogspot..How he did that?

 

You are probably talking about Amit Agarwal of Digital Inspiration fame. As to how, his success mantra is: content...regularly updated hot useful content.

You say he made thousands? He would be making millions if he has a proper, relevant, easy-to-remember domain name.

 

If you wanna earn some serious money,get a domain and server.

 

Having your own domain has more advantages but it doesn't really matter unless you get the traffic.

 

yeah i using blogspot all links in my siggy are hosted on blogspot and i make pretty handsome amount by sitting one hr daily for them on comp

 

Blogspot is fun to begin with and for learning the ropes. It's not nice having to rely on a free host though, so it's always wise to move to your own hosting, preferably with WordPress, if you want to maximise your blog. You can earn with Blogspot if you have lots of traffic but at the end of the day it isn't truly your site - if things go wrong you've got no come back.

 

i just switched to wordpress from blogger and i love it. Blogger was good to get me started, i made a decent amount with adsense, CJ and Contera (about $500 combined in 4 months). But i found blogger just too limiting. And i was having tons of site validation problems. with WP there are SOO many more options...

 

I concur. I started playing around on blogger,, but self hosted wordpress is the way to go.
