Using AWS for Shared Hosting?

Discussion in 'Web Hosting' started by JordanDirectly, Jul 21, 2016.

Would it be economically viable to use Amazon Web Services for shared hosting? Along with that, would AWS EC2 instances be able to sustain multiple shared hosts? I can't seem to find any information on hosting companies using AWS. AWS also offers dedicated EC2 servers, as well. What do you guys think?

t2.micro is free and very good for beginning where dedicated server would cost 100$+ per month.
If you reserve the t2.micro instance for one year it would cost 75$ for a year.

if you compared with digitalocean vs ec2, i would definitely go with digitalocean because of cheap pricing and easy to use.
