Using article marketing for old blog posts - Is it Worthwhile?

I have nice old posts in one blog of mine which are not ranking well with the search engines. These 5 or 6 posts, I intend to earn backlinks for them using article marketing. Will I get my desired result of boosting up their ranking by promoting and helping them get more backlinks via article marketing? Or is article marketing effective only as a link building method for brand new blog posts and for niche blogs?

Article marketing involves tedious work, so before I even start on it, I want to hear advices. Thanks.

yes you can do article submission for getting backlinks to inner pages. best way to do it will be to get 2 backlinks form one article submission with one to the inner page and one to your main page.

Much better if you can link your old blog posts to your recent posts.
