    hi guys,

using google keyword tool i found a good pairing of words, but in google keywords its show it as EXAMPLE: peanutbutterJAM

Does google in this case DISCOUNT that the person wrote "peanutbutter AND Jam" when they did the search?

so would you buy a domain:
    peanutbutterjam.com OR peanutbutterANDjam.com

I know they are lengthy - but this is an example.

    YOUR THOUGHTS!

peanutbutterANDjam.com - Everyone says it with "And" in between. Not having it in this instance makes it look weird & devalues this name IMO. You would also get more type-in traffic as well.

There really isn't anyone who can answer that. You will have tons of people telling you all kinds of stuff based on what they have read, but nobody really knows for sure.

Now, what we do know is that Google does like it when you make it easier for them to find what they are looking for. We also know that an exact match will put you one up over someone who just comes close. So, if a person types in "peanutbutter and jelley" and your domain name is peanutbutterandjelley.com, chances are you will appear first on top.

Along the same lines, I read a post form Matt Cults, Cutts, or whever his name is, that discussed using hyphens in the domain name. There were plenty of rumors flying around that you should never use hyphens. Well, according to Matt, you should use them. Again, it helps Google provide more accurate search results for their customers.

    Hope this helps,
    Zeek

The best thing to do is to have the exact keyword in the domain name (although I don't think that of much importance in SEO). So, with AND.

Relevance and how it fits with the extension certainly plays a part.

For example, youand.me sold (reportedly) for $22,500 on Funk.me. Wouldn't make much sense in net/info, for example.

"And" can be replaced by "n" or with a hyphen.
