Using analytics for sites that are crossed linked

Hi. I was wondering if it is a bad idea to use analytics to track sites that you are cross linking. Even if the links are in proper context and useful to the user. I'm worried that Google will devalue the links. Or maybe the fact that I'm tracking all the sites with Google Analytics would show them that I'm really not trying to do anything shady?

Google may very well. They are sneaky. Just don't crosslink, especially if they aren't related.

This is the reason I avoid using Google Toolbar, GTalk, and any other tools from Google.

    Google is watching you.
