Using an email id in Paypal as secondary id to receive payments

    Hey there,

I had been working and receiving payments on paypal with a partner for a few years now. For some reasons, I couldn't manage my own paypal account and used my partner's account to receive all my payments. I had added my own email id to his paypal account as a secondary id.

But, now me and my partner have parted ways and we don't work together anymore. Also, I have created my own paypal account.

However, I would like to know if I could add the same email id (the one with which I worked with my partner) as secondary id to my paypal account? Obviously, the email id has been removed from his account. Won't paypal have any problems due to adding an email id that was once a part of another account? Please help me out because I don't think I can update my paypal everywhere I was using it.

    Thanks a ton!!

If you remove your email id from that account and then add it to your own account then there is no problem.

There is no problem if he removed your email from his account

I dont think there should be any problems as secondary emails are mostly for partnerships which can change anytime.
