Does amazon allows associates to use amazon.com for ppc campaign? I only found the page saying you are not allow to use their trademark on "website" . Then I read on http://www.squidoo.com/rich_with_amazon/ that he is using amazon.de in destination url
Yes you can direct link to an amazon page with your affiliate ID in it. The only problem is for a lot of items someone is already linking to an amazon.com page in their ad, so you wont be able to.
No, you are not allowed too as its strictly against amazons TOS. If you use adwords ect.. and link your affiliate id to them expect your account to be terminated.
Amazon allows it. However, Google will show only one affiliate ad per SERP. If there is more than one ad bidding for a keyword, Google shows the ad with the highest quality score. In effect, the ad that got there first. There are bids on most keywords already. This has been going on for years. You will find it tough to make a profit with because of expensive keywords, a 24-hour cookie, and people clicking your ads just to have a look. There are associates that claim to have found the right niche to make lots of bucks. However, most of them are also selling e-books or software - therefore, there is conflict of interest. Give it try and see how you fair. Set a daily limit so you won't loose too much.
It is breaking even right now so I might as well keep on testing. So I assume it is safe since it is 2v1
I always use Amazon.com in my AdWords ads. As long as you are the first ad showing it's fine, otherwise your ad won't show. If you visit the Amazon discussion boards you will see that this question has been asked and answered numerous times. You just can't have your own url with Amazon in it - if you do and they find out your gone. You also can't bid on the word Amazon or Amazon.com and they prefer if you put Amazon in your negative keywords.
