Using All In One SEO on my blog

Hello,
My question is about "keywording" my blog about dubstep music. I use All In One to fill out 3-4 keywords for homepage, lets say dubstep, dubstep music, etc. Also on a per post basis my usage is like this, turn on use tags for keywords and put artist + song name in tags, and use same keywords for the All In One keyword section, ie dubstep, dubstep music, etc. This means every post has the artist and song plus the SAME 4 keywords. Is that viable or am i putting those same four tags too much?

Any page can be indexed through the search engines not just the homepage. So, every page should be optimized. You are doing the right thing.

yes, every page in your website should be seo friendly.

All in One SEO is a very good plugin for a blog but please note the following, if you are going to eventually upgrade your blog with a shopping basket the All in One SEO pack is limited if you are trying to individually optimise categories and products

 

You can use your main target keywords dubstep, dubstep music, etc on your homepage and the article on your home page should be optimized for those keywords. Your posts on the other hand should be optimized for just one of those keywords. The All in One SEO for each of the post should show varieties of your main keywords and not the same ones on your homepage.

Well, It is basically telling search engines and searchers what each page on your website is about .

 

based on how your website is actually setup, you should really concentrate on some of your 2nd / 3rd lvl pages as well. Its funny that some of my sub pages rank better than my home page.

My suggestion is build other pages specifically for other keyword terms and sptread the content out over the website. Having 1 page rank well isn't as good as having EVERY page rank for keywords relating to your main one.

 

Every webpage is like one website for Search engine so do work equally.

 

you should set keywords for every page of your blog not only the home page. This way you can be sure your blog is fully optimised.
