I am wondering if I was to develop a web site and use AdSense to display ads, could I advertise using AdWords to target my ads on my web site? Thanks
Are you sure? I was told by my adwords rep that you couldn't - as it would be seen as an attempt to inflate ad prices and cost to other advertisers targeting your site. We specifically talked about CPM as this was before the beta site targeted CPC.
I've never asked, but I've looked and have never seen anything in the documentation that says you can't. I've done it a few times and know a few others that have as well. It's been awhile though...maybe a year or more. That said, if your rep told you it's against the rules I'd suggest that anyone who is considering this contact AdWords support and get an official thumbs up or thumbs down.
You MUST have relevant content on your site, and your ads may not be placed in a misleading way (presenting them as the menu etc) As long as you have quality content you have little to worry about
GuyFromChicago is right on. Since you don't need targeted traffic, you don't want to use AdWords. AdWords is expensive because you can reach a qualified visitor base. You should find a service that sells traffic by CPM. That way you can track your ROI.
I don't think you guys get what he's asking...he wants to use AdWords to run ads on his own site (which has Adsense) via site targeting.
It pretty expensive and also, not wise idea, unless you have other source of visitor, it possible that PPC visitor don' t click your AD, In that case you are only looser side. thanks
There are a number of ad serving packages out there you could look at...they go from free to very expensive.
