Are some of you using adsense ads in landing page of an AdWords target site?

I just want to know about the $ return of the invested in Adwords account. What is amount in % approximately that you get back in your adsense ads of your invested money in the Adwords.

Do you think that it Worth? do you have experience like if this affects too mutch your conversion rate (as some of the attracted landing customer goes out to another sponsor ad)

    thanks

It can definately be worth. If you run campaigns that pay 1 cent and average 15 CPC, then you'll need a CTR of 7% to make money. I find referrers from AdWords have a CTR/visit above 10%. You just have to keep on top of the math and find a combination that pays.

I agree with you on that. But I bet that not even 35% of the people referred by Google will click on the AdSense displayed on your site. It's a pretty big risk!

Using Adwords to try and generate Adsense clicks is a waste of time...unless you like chasing pennies.

getting 10% of invested in Adwords back from Adsense on first day.

If I research in better eCPM maybe a can reach a 15%.

Yes, I'm loosing my time and probably loosing some of my conversion rate too.

So you're spending a dollar in Adwords to make 10 cents in Adsense?

    That sounds about right:)

I also agree with views above that customer thru adwords would like to go to site that can be a final destination and not again clicking ad for next site. That way he clicks on one ad after another to reach final site. Best is to have links, get traffic and mix adsense ads well with content

Chawlers, do you need include your spammy links in all of your posts?

Wouldn't be so bad if you actually posted something that made sense.

Although if you set up just a few that you spend $10 a day and get $30 or so in adsnse revenue a day, that can add up.

it still feels good if you can make a surplus lol. But I also do it along with content and stuff.. I think it as "if they click the adsense ad after coming from google via adwords, they probably wont gonna buy anyway" as long as you pay less for adwords than you get from adsense it's ok..

I have adsense on every page and use other payper click company that charges me an average of 1 penny a click. I find that the money I make from adsense doesn't pay for the whole campaign, but helps keep my pay-per-click campaign cost down. It would be hard for me to imagine making enough money from adsense to pay for your entire pay-per-click campaign if you dont have traffic from other places - i.e. search engines.:)

You are right, that business model is realy only worthy when providing a service or product that would have a higher CPM return. Paying pennies to chase pennies it just like chasing you tail. ;)
