Well, first, is it allowed by Google's TOS to get traffic through AdCenter, Overture, or other PPC programs? Beyond that, do you think this could work as an effective promotion method. I think you would lose money, because you would be paying more in advertising than you would get back in clicks, because not everyone who clicks to come to your site will click on your ads. Nonetheless, this could be a good way to build up a traffic base, gain link popularity, and such. So, a new site could use this method to become popular, and then the site will be able to sustain itself more without the help of PPC. What do you think?
