Using a URL which redirects to another URL

    Hi there

I've got a .com URL, for example mypage.com, which I want to use in an adwords ad. When that ad is clicked, the url auto redirects to another URL, for example mypage.co.uk - the local version of the .com site.

So my question is, is this allowable?
If it isn't allowable, does anyone have any suggestions how I can use this .com URL in an ad? E.g. Can i mask physically mypage.co.uk with mypage.com, and if I do that, is that bad for SEO?

    Many thanks for any replies!

    The Adwords rule is simple:

The domain reached after all redirects (a stable page one can browse) must be the same as the one showing in your ad. No exceptions.

In other words, what you want to do will not pass.

Let me ask this; do you own the .COM version of the UK domain name you're going with? If not, it'll just cause visitor confusion and draw Google's ire :)
Just buy a .COM domain and point it at your same site IP, then you can use it for Adwords advertising as well.

do that, get your ad approved first, then log into your cpanel and redirect the .com after the ad has been approved, and then pray that you don't get caught otherwise they'll shut your account.
