    Hey,

I want the keywords political forums for my site, so I added a url redirect that is politicalforums.volconvo.com, and I changed any direct links on my site that went to the forums to that. Is this good, bad, etc? All it does is re-direct you to volconvo.com/forums

Did you do a permanent redirect? I would assume it is okay with a permanent redirect.. You just need to go back and find any external links you can and have them change to the new address as well.

My understanding is benefits pass over 301 redirects, but it is still best to make sure everything points to new address.
