Using A Tiny URL Tool

I recently followed a link to a site that talked about a handy tool that is suppose to help shorten url's and be better than the normal drop and drag, I use so often. It made the claim that lots of sites usually older ones still use old verisons of javascript that when you try to convert something from one website to another, or transfer script as in using links from other websites to promote your business that this tool would make life easier. I was hoping someone could review this website and let me know if you think it works as well as they claim it does. It would be a big help to me as I often help friends with their web sites and handling loads of script, as typing it all in is time consuming. I hoped it is ok to list it here., but am told I can not list the site. so if anyone wants to comment on it I would be happy to hear about your experiences. Let me know if it something I would want to use. Thanks.

Ok, I understand to a degree why your not in favor of (tiny url's) being posted on your site. I understand there is a big trust issue as in does that link go where you think it is going or is it spam. My intention in placing the post was to ask about the tiny url's and find out if they are safe to use and if other marketers use them in other places besides tweet. I guess I was wrong in thinking that questions about a free tool offered to advertizers was something that would be a topic of interest or allowed to be ask on this site. I am disappointed in your reaction. I had hoped to get help in deciding whether to use the tool or not. I find your very strict rules on new comers to business very discouraging.

Instead of making a whiny post here and starting a parallel thread in the suggestions section to do the same...
Maybe you could invest a few minutes and read the rules you agreed to follow when you signed up:

I was not being whiny. I did read the rules but misunderstood them in regards to thinking that meant no ads or selling something in posts. I was only asking a question. So i make a mistake. There is no reason to be rude.

Yeah, how could that be perceived as "whiny"?

"Yes, you are wrong in your thinking." But I forgive you.
