I know threads regarding this exist, but mine is a little more specific, so hoping you guys can help. I am working on a local travel website, and the domain I am considering is basically www.expore-keyword.com (replace keyword obviously). The non hyphen is taken, but it redirects to some blog that is worthless. I am trying to rank for people in my area looking for the "hidden gems" around the state, along with camping info, city info, etc.
Since you are targeting only a specific region... I guess going for a regional tld with your original keyword (without hyphen) is not a bad option... in my opinion! Regards, RightMan
