Hi, Does anyone here have any experience with Fiverr scripts? I'm not trying to create another Fiverr clone, but using the Fiverr script as a framework for a site where members pay for each others (morally appropriate) skills at a per hour rate. I know it sounds like an elance.com/fiverr.com love child, but the website I'm working on differs from both quite a bit. The site's aesthetics are going to be custom built from the ground up, but the functionality will implement some of Fiverr's attributes under the hood. What I'm going for mainly is a very simple interface that allows members to: Post their services in the site's search database Pay each other easily (with Paypal integration that I can mediate in case of any transaction disputes) Send messages to each other easily Connect with Facebook and other social networking sites Rate their experiences with other users My question is; is there an easier way to go about building a site like this, or is Fiverr's simple but effective build a good place to start working from? I'll post any information I find on my own for other members interested in working on similar projects. Thanks for your help DP brethren. (Apologies to mod if this is in the wrong category)
Don't reinvent the wheel, just go for the fiverr clone script. It'll save you time, money & you can still customize it to have all the features you want. Take alook at FiverrAlternative.blogspot.com for some AWESOME fiverr clone script.
