Using a Facebook group for driving traffic to your blog

I wonder if anyone tried creating a Facebook group to drive traffic to a blog or a website.
I heard lately that this can work wonder on forwarding good traffic (and can even compete Google search traffic volume).
Can this method work? Does anyone have an experience?

 

Yes, I have created a facebook group as well as LIKE button and it is still working pretty well. I drive traffic through updating my group and LIKE button. People are recommending my group's update to their friends as well. So not got almost 300 users in my group.

 

Can I view/join your group to see how it can work for me? our topics are not the same..

 

yes fb groups+ pages+apps make a very powerful combination and can send tons of very targetted traffic

 

Ofcourse, I've a group with over 3600+ members(dont cross 5k members ! ), and each link in a message to all receives atleast 100 clicks !

 

Yes, at the same time Facebook Advertising could be the main factor to generate immense traffic to your blog/site

Yes, but now for blog...for internet radio. And I can say you truly, it works really good!! On facebook are more users then you know so not only yours friends will see it...It really helps!! You should try with fan page or group..
