   Hi i was wondering if i used a .ca extension (canada) to rank for a keyword on the Canadian version of google, would this be a positive in ranking with google Canada?
   
   Or is it pointless.

   If you want to rank well in Canada, you should get backlinks from Canadian extension. I have done this for several clients.
