my client wants to have a 2nd domain name that just points to their site with a 301 redirect. I understand how to do that, no content on the 2nd domain, just the redirect. My question is can they use this 2nd domain for their email. (It is shorter and easier to remember, thus easier for email use). Will the 301 redirect have any impact on running the email? Though I understand the steps to do the 301 redirect, I am afraid that I may not fully understand what is happening in the background.
