In my opinion, if you can afford a premium membership on U.S. Freeads then you should have one. The more advertising methods you have the better. Maybe this isn't the most cost effective form of advertising but if you add it to the other methods you're using then it certainly can't hurt. Don't ever limit your exposure if at all possible.

Most places that offer free advertising also offer paid memberships, the paid ones are the ones that work - when I pay for a premium ad I get results, when I don't the rsults just haven't been there.

I tried USfreeads for about half a year and the results sucked. Thankfully it's cheap, but to me - a waste of money is a waste of money, no matter how much it is. After I canceled my account, I had no negative impact on my site traffic. With USfreeads, new ads get that initial boost on Google, then vanish beyond page 50 within a couple days. There was no impact from the backlinks or image links I created, and traffic was maybe 1-2 hits per day at the most. That's just my personal experience.

It's good for backlinks, if nothing else. I've got a gold account there and my ads get enough views to justify their existence.

For backlinks, it is not worth it, I am sure you can market some other products on there though.

I just want to give an update from my last post I made on this topic.

UsFreeAds is still a good place however their ads don't get ranked in Google like they use to. They still can get ranked very high (not as easy as they once did) in Google but you will need VERY little competition under 50k websites in Google for your keyword is what I would recommend.

As for ads. I'm still posting ads daily to them I post about 25 days per day and have them all set to repost after they expire. The traffic isn't a huge number however I do get traffic and leads and response, and thats all that matters to me.

I've had good luck with the paid / featured options using HTML posts.

They won't blow your socks off but I still have some traffic from ads I wrote months and months ago from this service.

That's FAR from the truth. You think posting on CL or Backpage is worthless? I have made thousands from both. It's all a matter of doing it properly.

I'm going to give it a try for a few days and see what kind of result I get, I notice they only offer 2 ads for the free service...no picture option if you are not a premium member..

i have never try it. but it seem that google love usfreeads.

so this is my proposition for you:
sign up for a gold account and optimise your ads for a long tail,
you'll get then two way to get traffic, USFREEADS + GOOGLE

Usfreeads works for me. You just have to use their premium membership and also try featuring your ads.
