What about the "featured ads" spots. Are they worth the 12 bucks?

    Thanks guys!

They are decent. They like disabling ads often, which really pissed me off. Article marketing works better if you can find an efficient way of doing it...

I'm also interested in USFreeAds, but I'd like to hear numbers about traffic or sales.

I had the paid version, but didn't find them all that great. I quit about 2 or 3 months ago. Prior to that, it was supposed to be really good. Too many marketers jumped on it and abused it by putting up 50 or 60 ads at a time that were the same. Of course, there probably are people who still think its the greatest. The best thing is try it and see what you think.

But it still is good to get backlinks from. ;)

All the ads I've seen in there use a redirect, does that count as a backlink?

    No.
Just link back to your own site, blog, article or whatever.

Redirect links have no SEO benefit. Not sure how else I can say this? Opt for direct links which are not redirected.

I guess I didn't think that having a URL in the text of an ad was a redirect.
Isn't that the same as putting your site in your sig in the forums or in your Bio in an article?
That is where I am confused.

I have an account with us free ads and it is very good. I have managed to sell quite a bit from there. Also it gets indexed very fast to.
