It really does depend on how you use the classified ad site. Let's not forget the public. They are there to find what they want at a reasonable price or below reasonable price. The internet is still a visual medium and a well crafted image ad beats a text ad any day. The same problem has plagued the brick and mortar world forever. How to get the lead, sale, what ever you want to call it. Good Headline Eye stopping power. That's how you get it. Check out my sig link to see how I have been getting the clicks for DP members.
I had their $10/mo. membership for a couple of months. One good thing is that it allows you to place as many ads as you want for the $10 but I never had any luck with it.
Even with their basic memebership you can post a ton of ads ... the trick is to keep them fresh. Pages do get indexed, worth driving links to them You can also create stores (catalogs) for various categories you want to advertise Been using it for a few years now
I agree....USFreeads is only good for Serps....no direct sales of any measure. However it can be a good place to build a list with free reports. Rod
I have been using USfreeads since August 2008, I have just started making more consistent sales from it over the past 2 months. The key is decent ads, Lots of ads and long tailed keywords. USfreeads does work, you just have to work at it and keep working at it and keep posting ads but it definately does work to make extra money. I will not say it will make you thousands of dollars a day but you can definately make a few extra hundred a month from it and this is just from promoting Clickbank Products. Use the premium membership and take advantage of the HTML You can make very attractive ads that never expire. It takes work though but it can pay off
also, I have never tried featuring my ads so I don't know if that works better but with the right keywords, you can get very high rankings in Google. One of my ads have been number one on google for the past 3 months (Not going to say the ad or keyword used) because I don't want to lose my #1 spot I have made quite a few sales off of that particular clickbank product I may to feature that one (because of its ranking) just to see if it boosts sales even more Has anyone had success from featuring the ad?
Definately do your keyword research The key for usfreeads is long tailed keywords Use Google's keyword research tool Also try Pot Pie Girls plan of marketing
yea, writing articles for blogs and article directories is a better option. read this article if you want to explore more methods: http://makemoneyutube.blogspot.com/2009/11/make-money-with-clickbank-part-2.html
Another thing you can do is write your articles and blogs but also post a few ads on USfreeads directing back to those articles, blogs or lens The more you post, the more chances of making sales (Never put all your eggs in one basket especially when advertising)
if you use keywords for your ads, won't they be seen by the merchant in the referrer header data, once someone clicked thru to your site? if so, is there a way to hide keywords so the merchant won't discover them?
Again, I think it is the way you use it because I make quite a few sales from it and it is easier than article marketing and making squidoo lens and the ads never expire so the more you post, I guess the better the odds I have quite a few ads that have been on first page of google for months
What's up with usfreeads? I registered and nothing happened, no email received, no password, tried password recovery and says my email address doesn't exist. Is it closed to new registrations?
I upgraded to the gold membership - then to the premium and got it for $6.95 a month. I'm a clickbank affiliate too - is there any other large classified ad network that might work? What about inetgiant? Thanks John Hansen majorhart@sbcglobal.net
