I was wondering what blogs can be used for so I'm gonna ask you guys: what's the strangest use of a blog or WP in particular that you've come across? Or even thought of?
Strangest not sure, but I will start with a form of usage: Realtors can display their latest properties for sale easily. Many of them are not too web savvy, but once you show them how to post, they take it from there
That's a good way to use it, definetely for those that are not web savvy nor are prepared to invest too much time and money into a "proper" system.
Yes, great tip and actually a good idea for trade in general. I think it could be good for easy publishing of special offers for any kind of business. Any other interesting ideas you can come up with or you can think of?
well a blog is frequently updated therefore can be used to keep your friends and family up to date about what you are up to
Well as flexible as WP is you can use it for just about anything. I use it for a book sellers store, DVD shop, portal, Wedding site and a news aggregator, tips site and even a blog You are only limited by your own imagination on how to use it and more importantly, how you can use the huge library of plug ins.
Visit www.wp-plugins.net and take your choice of a thousand or so plugins I have only had time to explore a couple of them, but it looks like you can extend WP in LOT of directions. (From an updating/maintaining standpoint that may not be such a great idea of course).
