User's Country locater script

Hi,

I am looking for a script which identifies the user's country by its ip and displays that specfic home-page for him, i think it is popularly known as Geo-Locater script.

I have seen dell use it.

I think you can get a free geoip database from http://www.maxmind.com/app/geoip_country

 

i dunno somehow i cannot make that script to check locally.

I use this one:

I made some checks from various proxies and it seemed pretty accurate.

They have a sample redirect script:

http://www.ip2nation.com/ip2nation/Sample_Scripts/Country_Based_Redirect

that works nicely. Even I could get it to work.
