Username change with good reason

Hello. I read the thread about having a very good reason for a name change and I feel that my reason is a good one. When I first became a website owner, I signed up here with my first domain name as my username. After learning a thing or two about websites and message boards, I've realized that my username is spammy.

I don't want to put out that kind of vibe and don't want that kind of reputation here. I'm not a spammer and would like my name to be changed so that I can move forward as a productive member of the site. The only other way to escape my spammy username is to ditch this account and register a new one. Unfortunately, that is against the rules. So, if I can't get my name changed, there is no escape from this terrible name (unless I just log out and don't come back ...and I don't want to do that).

If the powers that be determine that my reason is good enough, I'd like my name to be changed to "Buccaneer".

    Regards

That would fall under the "I don't like my old one" reason, which the sticky thread clearly states is not a good enough reason. Sorry.
