Suggestion User Transaction Rating

    Hi,

Today I had a user try and bid on an auction of mine that had an Unpaid Transaction Rating of 26.

Would it be possible to restrict users with a high Unpaid Transaction Rating from placing bids?

    Thanks,
    John

You can set requirements at the time you set auction and manuall disallow disallow bids that fail to me your specifications.

I do not understand why all auction holders do not set a reserve to protect themselves.

    Thanks, Shannon.

I failed to notice that option when posting an auction.

If you set no criteria in your opening post they you must abide with the auction as you posted it.

There are going to be some extra restrictions that sellers can place on their sale... Things like restrict bidders to people who actually have a linked PayPal account, restrict bidders to certain countries, restrict based on how new of a user they are, etc. The ability to restrict based on transaction history of the bidding user certainly will be something we look at.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, Shawn.

Sounds like some really great features in the pipeline. Look forward to seeing them in action.
