Hello, I need to design a site that will sell some machinery , but in order for the user to see the prices he should register with his name , adress , mail and phone number , log in then see the prices and aftwords I should get that info somewhere in a database so I may send him new deals , discounts..etc. Now the problem : Whats the easiest way to build this ? I was thinking Oscommerce , but wouldn't be easier just to get a script that would let me register a new user and send the info somewhere , or just store it and then I could send them new info from the site. Or if you know other scripts , CMS , online stores that are free and easy to use I'm willing to try anything.I need to have it done in about 2 weeks. Can you help me with this please ? Thank you.
You can either spend your time customizing a script like OScommerce to do the job, or write a small custom script to do what you need without the overhead. Based on what you say in your message, I think OScommerce and similar solutions are going to be way more than you need.
Oscommerce looks like the posibile option , but i was wondering if you know other scripts that maybe are easier to use and more simple to customize and take my design and make it work on that script
