I could swear I saw a class that did exactly what I wanted in PEAR but now I can't find it some maybe I didn't see it there or maybe I'm missing something. What I want is a class to handle basic website user registration: - register user - optionally use captcha - verify e-mail Looking in PEAR I see the Auth class but that seems to be focused solely on logins and doesn't appear to handle registration. Then there's the LiveUser class which seems focused on permissions and far more complex that what I need. I also found PhpUserClass.com but that doesn't appear to do the e-mail or captcha parts. Can anyone point me to a good class for PHP User registration/login/logout basic user management stuff?

I don't know if you use Dreamweaver at all, but these extensions will do all the work for you. Wizard interface for user registration, login/logout, email, user administration, cookies, sessions all that stuff. http://www.webrehash.com/security-assist.html
