User Like content Ad or Image Ad ?

In this last few month I am following the behavior of user and What I realize user like to see banner image ad but don't like to click but for content ad user like to click on it.

What you all think ?

Well in my opinion it depend from website content. Meaby people visiting site with content "x" will click mostly on text, and visitors on site with content "y" will click on imgae ads

 

Coming from a design background i tended to use image ads because they looked more attractive than text ads...but i was recommended to switch to text ad and it increased both CTR and revenue...but like stated above, some types work better for x type of website.

 

I think, that also good resolve is using text and image both (if enought space on site)

 

I think text ads always work better because image ads tend to have a higher degree of ad blindness owing to the "banner symptom".

Erm reader like to read article and it decorate with picture.So the article is not to boring.Just my opinion.

 

This depends on your niche and placement. I prefer text ads however since they seem more relevant to the content than image ads.

Image ads looked more attractive than text ads (except images with extreme animation which are very annoying), but has lower clicks (and revenue) because people usually are blind with graphical ads. Although lately people are becoming to be blinded also with text ads.

 

when the ads are relevant to the content, definitely text ads are more appealing.

 

Voted text, people are blind IMO to image ads.... "banner blindness"

That's actually a good point! I can't believe I missed it... they're just like those annoying pay per impression image ads that my eyes "block"

 

I think text ads because if we put text ads in between the story user will get some links which is related to post and with that intension user will try to click on it.

Actually I have done may time the same thing.
Banner ad is no doubt is attractive but for better clicking on adsense I think text ads is best.

 

i have voted for the txt ads but if you are on gaming related site, image ads can be an alternative too

 

I think image ads are appropriate to those website and blogger who are using many images in there website or blog. Such like graphics designer and many more.

 

I think, it depends on the site. If it is a site say for photoshop tutorials, I would prefere to click on an image ad, whereas if it was an article based resource site, I may click on a text ad if I find it interesting.

 

Smartconsultant you are right it depends on site.

 

Text ads generally do better for me, but it depends on the site layout and what part of the site the ad is on.
