Hi all, May be this question has been already answered somewhere, but still I want to know if there are some new techniques to get quality links. I am looking for link building techniques except to following; 1) No use of automated softwares to build links 2) No blog comments 3) No link posted to link farms 4) No ping websites 5) No links with rel=nofollow 6) No general web-directories Following list seems useful; 1) Yahoo Answers 2) Relevant forum posting 3) Squidoo page 4) Articles Website Any suggestion(s) would be highly appreciated. Regards!
For effective link building, I would suggest article submission, forum posting, directory submission and blog creation.
Article marketing is the best way to build link. Just write an unique article then create hundreds of copy of the article with a article spinning software and submit those article to article directories. I found this way useful.
Hi, Why not the "general directories"? I think it's one of the best way to build links And you can also add your link to social bookmarking site e.g. Digg Cheers
For genuine permanent results, quality article marketing is the best way forward. The more your website becomes an authority figure in your niche the better your SEO and SERP results will be over time.
This is the best advice I've seen in this thread so far. Most people forget that the number of links you can build by yourself pales in comparison to the number of links your website can manage to grab if it becomes a true authority in your niche. That being said, I would certainly say Yahoo answers is a great way to build authority and traffic provided you know what you're doing. The overall thing you need to remember is to provide relevant, meaningful answers to people's questions. Don't just have them visit your website because they can. You have to give a little value to get a lot back.
I would like to do web2.0, article submission and social bookmarking for fastest backlinks technique.
You use link directories to build links and there is nothing wrong with general directories. If relevancy is an issue, your link will get all the relevancy it needs from the category it appears in. Niche directories sometimes pass traffic but if it is link building we are talking about I don't believe it makes much difference whether you submit to either. The other techniques you mention should not be seen as link building tools. Yes you will get links and more often than not that all important anchor text, but understand that if you are using a resource for something it is not intended to be used for the chances are that it is not going to last. When you post to forums. post to contribute. Make yourself useful. When you are writing articles make sure you are doing the same thing and that your primary objective is the traffic you could get. Don't spam useless information and think it pays you to litter the net with inane badly composed clutter. Garbage is garbage. It's short term. It won't last. Forget about blog commenting as a means of acquiring links. Those that are still do follow use Akismet and you are merely wasting your time.
you can social book mark your site, slash dot is only for gadget niche, there are much similar site to this
Don't forget just ask for one-way link. Contact the webmasters and just request for links. I think the essential part is that you should try to figure out their needs and then give them what they want. Then they will be happy to give you links.
