According to US GAAP (accounting standards) the cost of a website needs to be amortized over it's useful life. Has anyone had experience in evaluating the useful life of a website?
Well, I would say that a website is always a useful marketing tool for a business; however, a website requires upgrades from time to time depending on the latest market trends and technology advancements. A website will always be useful, given the condition that you are regularly working on it to keep it up-to search engine standards and updated.
