Looking for feedback from anyone who's sold (or tried to sell) items with a $1000-10,000 price point. I'm looking for the best merchant service. We're going to be offering big-ticket seminars (intangible goods) with a money-back guarantee. If not PayPal, who do you recommend? I've signed up with one of the 'premium' merchant services, NoblePay, but they required we have clients sign contracts authorizing their credit card being charged, that also spells out what they are getting and the guarantee. I'm looking for someone who won't force us to use a written contract. We're above board, we just don't want to add one more step in the sales process since every time we add a step, we reduce conversions.
PayPal works fine for us. People pay for advertising on this site and can pick any amount they want (greater than $25). It's common for people to fund thousands with a single transactions. Never had an issues. http://advertising.digitalpoint.com/
I agreed with "digitalpoint", paypal is great but another way is moneybookers either it is not recommendable but it is also another alternate way, lots of people using moneybookers frequently. There are software too for selling products but in the end the amount transfers to accounts using paypal or moneybookers, both are good.
Yeah I have used PP and not getting any issues, its a great way of transferring money easily and steadily.
