If you are selling top notch domains for $2 each, eg. Computers.com, Hosting.com, etc. people will find it interesting & sell the domains. Forget about listing those on the site & just PM me & I'll buy those type of names for $2 each! If the names you are selling are crap that nobody would take off your hands for free, then no, people won't buy it.

it depends on the domains you are selling. A good domain should sell. Good luck!

It'll be a good base from which you can sell your domains. With regards to the extension e.g. .com, I would recommend considering your target audience when deciding which one to use. A .com extension would be the one that is most neutral and probably likely that you should get that one but if you are aiming at a specific country you should get an extension specific to that country.

    Creating your own marketplace?
It doesn't make sense unless you have a LARGE amount of quality domain names.
Otherwise, just sell them one by one occasionally.

Chris, am not able to understand. Am sure you would've paid on an average 5.99$/domain. What is the point in selling it at a loss? or lets say you bought it for 0.5$, still 2$ is not a big money. Am sure I didn't understand it properly. Can you just give me a brief about your idea, am sure am going to learn something new here.

    Thanks

you can simply try to sell them here, or in godaddy auction or something, unless you own a very heavy amount of good domains

yeah people always do search for domains - but it does depend how you do your optimization and marketing for it, that people will come and actually buy domains rather than just visit the site.

I suppose it would depend on the amount of time left before the domain expires because say for a 12 month normal renewal at say $12 per year this is about $1 per month for the domain name. Of course, if you have domain names that have traffic you should probably consider asking more than $2 since it should be possible to monetize that traffic using landing pages with ads. What domain names do you have? If you would like to send me a private message with the list of names, I would be happy to make an offer on them.
